Job description
As the VP of Revenue (m/f/d) at Actindo, you will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and be a key member of the Leadership Team. You will be responsible for defining and implementing Actindo’s overall revenue strategy, structuring the go-to-market (GTM) teams, and executing revenue-generating programs. You will work cross-functionally with Product, Partnerships, and Customer Success, while directly leading the Marketing and Sales teams to align revenue functions with Actindo’s broader business strategy.
This role requires a data-driven, strategic leader who can build, scale, and optimize high-performing sales, marketing and demand generation teams in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Your Tasks
GTM Functions & Organizational Leadership:
Implement scalable, repeatable sales, marketing, partnership, revenue operations (RevOps), and enablement processes.
Hire, mentor, and develop top-performing teams across all revenue functions.
Establish a performance-driven culture, fostering accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement.
Leverage technology, automation, and data analytics to drive targeted buyer engagement strategies.
Own the measurement, tracking, and optimization of critical revenue KPIs.
Drive forecasting, budgeting, and reporting to ensure accurate revenue projections and clear visibility into performance.
Partner with internal teams to define customer needs and refine product-market fit.
Oversee the revenue technology stack, including CRM (Hubspot), demand generation tools, digital channels, and business intelligence platforms.
Revenue Growth & Execution:
Drive the performance of sales, marketing and demand generation teams to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
Implement multi-channel sales strategies (direct sales, channel sales, and partnerships) to expand Actindo’s market footprint.
Optimize and execute lead generation, pipeline acceleration, and customer engagement strategies.
Build and manage targeted outreach, content marketing, and thought leadership initiatives to position Actindo as a leader in Distributed Order Management, Commerce Operations and Process & Workflow Automation.
Strengthen Channel Sales efforts, leveraging our strong network and top references in industries such as sports, entertainment, and fashion. Focus on deepening strategic partnerships and enhancing sales enablement to drive indirect sales growth.
Lead contract negotiations and enterprise deal structuring to maximize revenue and long-term customer value.
Revenue Strategy & Market Expansion:
Define Actindo’s ideal buyer profiles, select target markets, and establish top-down revenue objectives and metrics.
Partner with Marketing and Leadership Team to position Actindo’s Commerce Operations Platform and develop a compelling go-to-market (GTM) strategy.
Drive brand positioning, value differentiation, and product messaging to maximize market impact.
Design and execute sales and demand generation programs to drive new revenue growth and expand existing customer relationships.
Establish and continuously refine Actindo’s go-to-market model, defining customer engagement strategies and structuring Sales, Marketing and Partnerships teams for maximum impact.
Build and oversee a predictable, scalable revenue model informed by historical data and market opportunity insights.
Your Profile
Experience:
8+ years of experience in B2B SaaS sales or revenue leadership, preferably in Commerce Operations, Distributed Order Management, ERP, PIM, or cloud-based digital commerce solutions.
Experience scaling revenue functions in a high-growth, venture-backed, or PE-backed SaaS company.
Proven success in sales leadership roles, growing teams, and accelerating revenue.
Experience managing direct and channel sales models, navigating enterprise sales cycles.
Experience managing remote and globally distributed teams.
Technical Skills:
Deep technical and business acumen, capable of articulating complex API-first, cloud-native commerce solutions.
Proficiency in CRM tools (HubSpot or similar), analytics, and sales forecasting.
Strong understanding of unit economics, KPIs, and data-driven decision-making.
Ability to troubleshoot and optimize sales and marketing strategies, leveraging data-driven insights.
Ability to experiment, learn, and iterate rapidly, optimizing revenue programs and GTM strategies.
Soft Skills:
Strong leadership and coaching skills, inspiring teams while driving accountability and high performance.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to develop and execute a scalable revenue strategy aligned with business goals.
Track record of building and optimizing sales and marketing teams that consistently meet or exceed targets.
Fluent in English; German proficiency is a plus.
